You'd have to get Messi and Ronaldo in though, right? Build the team around them.

After that...it doesn't matter. You've got Messi and Ronaldo.

Dream team....

Edward 'Teddy' Wynyard. Played cricket for England and scored for the Old Carthusians in the 1881 F A Cup defeat of the Old Etonians. He was an army officer with the King's Liverpool Regiment and won the DSO in the Burma Expedition in 1887 as well as twice being mentioned in despatches.
He later went to Sandhurst, where when W G Grace was unable to attend a cricket match, and not to disappoint the students, he donned a fake beard and make-up. He batted, made a few runs, and deliberately got hit on the hand so he could retire hurt.

In 1914 he rejoined the King's Regiment as major, and was later awarded an OBE.
Now that's the type of player who would stand no nonsense, but still would be liked and respected.
