Not really learned anything new here. We have a squad which is thin on quality in depth, with a roof of 8th and a floor of 14th and a manager who is solid but set in his ways. Not too angry or upset, it just is what it is.

Fullbacks and striker are still massive problems, and Gueye looks over the hill. The Dewsbury-Hall injury is by far the most concerning part of this game

The only issue is that as always nothing that happened today is likely to have made us any better at playing football which is another wasted opportunity. It’s Europe or bust.

I mean he isn’t wrong is he? You get what you get with Moyes. It’s bland and mediocre but safe from the relegation fight. Fan bases tire of it very quickly.

Fanbases also go from delirium after a great run of deserved wins and clean sheets to “30 more years of this crap, I can’t take it any more. Boooooooo. Same every week, we are horrible. Every player is garbage, and Pickford needs replacing,” In the space of a week.

Losing away at supposed title contenders Chelsea which could have put us in the top 4, after spurning a few good chances ourselves, is not how I will be judging this season.
