Today’s Football 25/26 Season

Decent performance from us today. Should have been 4-0 but I'll take the win and clean sheet.

Nice win for the Toffees. Woolwich losing their bottle and air of invisibility. The concourse at ours before the game when Villa scored their second was mental! Never seen any reaction like it for a non-Spurs goal before.

Just need Brighton to put the jellied eel munchers to the sword tomorrow.

@ GOT Americans

Is there a reason they play the MLS final at one teams home ground ? Seems a bit unfair

Are they scared they couldn't sell out a final in a neutral venue with 50/50 fans ?
Football is the only sport over here where they can reasonably fill a neutral ground for a championship game.

Also remember we have a much bigger country. Assuming we even had a robust national train system, you couldn’t pop on one and get anywhere in the US within a few hours. The two teams this year are separated by something like 3000 miles, that’s 10 times the distance from Newcastle to Wembley.

Still got that national bus network thing as featured in 'Planes trains...' and 'Jack Reacher'?

That's a lot of packs of lager and a very strained bus toilet compartment.

I think I've just stumbled on the next reality tv sensation.
"Idea for a programme. Around the Europa in 80 days, I Alan Partridge, travel by coach to Kazakhstan to watch my local team play Kairat Almaty in the Europa League knockouts. Celebrity drivers will include Paul Gascoigne, Ant McPartlin, my faithful assistant Lynne, and, um, Jet from Gladiators. Toilet breaks are allotted depending on challenges completed, such as evading the authorities at Checkpoint Charlie or finishing a bowl of goulash in under a minute."

What's with Sky showing loads of replays or managers for ages, I had no idea what was going on after Leeds scored whether it was being checked by VAR or what, finally stops showing Slot and the ball just goes past Leeds post from Isak header.
