Today’s Football 25/26 Season

As much as I hate to admit it, this Premier League season has been a classic so far. So many high-scoring comeback games, loads of brilliant goals, and - best of all - us massively exceeding expectations and the RS massively under-achieving.

Even our team is starting to remind me of one of our mid-80s likeable line-ups. KDH would have been right at home.

@ GOT Americans

Is there a reason they play the MLS final at one teams home ground ? Seems a bit unfair

Are they scared they couldn't sell out a final in a neutral venue with 50/50 fans ?
I don't know the exact reason, but I'm assuming ticket sales.

It's funny because the MLS Cup used to be played at a neutral location. I've been to two of them when we hosted the game in Texas a couple years in a row in 05 and 06. Those games were packed but we had only 20k capacity at the time at our stadium so maybe the bigger stadiums are less likely to sell out? Who knows. I hate that we do it like this now. Hope it gets changed back to how it was at some point.

Decent performance from us today. Should have been 4-0 but I'll take the win and clean sheet.

Nice win for the Toffees. Woolwich losing their bottle and air of invisibility. The concourse at ours before the game when Villa scored their second was mental! Never seen any reaction like it for a non-Spurs goal before.

Just need Brighton to put the jellied eel munchers to the sword tomorrow.
