No I was saying if Moyes didn't want to play Patterson then McNeil playing centre midfield is something Moyes might contemplate

He doesn't have any other options. He doesn't trust alcaraz in the deeper position, and Patterson is only there to make up the numbers. Would be very surprising to see pato in, but you never know...mcneill at cm could be very painful to watch.

Patterson is the best option for the balance of the team as at least O'Brien and Garner will be playing in their best positions as would Patterson. Whilst Patterson is part of the squad we have to use him when times are like this

Last match i saw Patterson play was the u21s just before his injury, He was very bad that day (so was aznou too by the way). I am not sure moyes would trust him. I think Keane will play, even if he is not 100%.

Possibly but I got the feeling from the press conference he'll not be ready to return. We'll find out tomorrow

Did anyone notice Moyes mention McNeil as someone who could play centre mid?

If Keane isn’t fit perhaps we’ll see KDH as a 6 with Alcaraz and McNeil as 8s. That would allow Garner to stay in the back line.

Another option could be running Aznou and Myko as the two full backs with one playing right back. It might come down to who does Moyes trust more out of Patterson or Aznou.

It’s just hilarious that you blasted him game after game when he was our manager even when we had horrendous injuries. ‘No excuses’. Then the second he turns up with an opposition team that are 16th in the league you’re wittering on that we have some players missing?!!!

If he’s as rubbish as you’ve made him out to be then you wouldn’t be snivelling around now getting your excuses ready in case we lose.

For the record I expect us to beat them because we’re at home and have a better manager than they do. I’ll be disappointed if we don’t get the three points.
