F1 2025 (and other motorsports)

True, but it seems to have affected Leclerc as well.

Badly in need of some leadership in that team to replace Vasseur.

Dare I suggest a rather allegedly handsy unemployed yet very successful team principal?
Leclerc is struggling too, however this year's car was in the mainstay designed around his input rather than input from Lewis, so it suits him more.

Similar to Max at RedBull, and I think that brings up two issues: the car isn't suited to Lewis, and he's no longer the top-dog in terms of decisions etc.

When you factor in dysfunctional communication and the apparent (sometime) laissez-faire attitude of the team, I think his morale has evaporated.

They haven't really attempted to improve this year's car rather than focusing development on next year, so he's sat in a car not suited to him.

And worse, a car they're tweaking based on the style and input of Charles. Bruised ego, perhaps? Add in his age and waning talent, it's a perfect storm.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's sat there thinking/worrying that next year's car will be the same because Ferrari can't organise things, and it'll be for Leclerc.

Hopefully next year with the regulation changes and smaller cars we see him and the team back in contention.

You'd think with his experience and the regulations being more engine focused, the team would take on board his input towards development. They maybe are but like we say, the team just seem passive.
