This was huge for me because when we got on the ball, we were easy on the eye. It’s a huge positive to see some good football on show again. In al the circumstances that was one of the best Everton performances that I've seen in the last 10 years .
I thought every player tried their heart out and despite being down to 10 for some stupidity and ridiculous refereeing we tried to play football.
I've often been critical of Moyes' tactics and subs but he was spot on last night.
Brilliant.
First team to win in at OT in the prem era having a player sent off.
Ain't this the truth. Ironically it's this season he deserves it least!Don’t blame Gana.
I’ve wanted to slap Michael Keane for years.
In the cold light of the day I can see why he might have intervened with a card. Still think it's soft. The rules state that a player is guilty of violent conduct unless the force used was negligible. Keane didn't flinch so surely it was negligible. But as you say Gana didn't even need to get himself in that position.Ref was quick to show the card but it was always going to be a red, especially as it would have likely gone to VAR. We can chat about refs being inconsistent or that it’s a soft one, but the buck stops with Gana in my opinion.
That said, I am absolutely buzzing today. Woke up with a pounding headache before the school run because I decided to have a couple of pints to celebrate. As someone who lives in Manchester, looking forward to bumping into a few mates today !
