Time to get ready for work but it will be difficult to concentrate today.
Such an important result.
Brilliant performance, and I've seen the pundits saying UTD were poor, but they're unbeaten in 5, I think we just bossed them, I think it's simple, we are a far better side than them.
Individual spirit, team spirit, tenacity, focus, fight, concentration, togetherness, hard work, that performance had it all, from everyone.

I think with the run of games they had the media thought that the old United were on the way back to being top notch, which must have been some comfort for them as the RS seem to have imploded over a similar run of games. The headline on Sky`s Sports "Embarrassing Man United beaten by 10 man Everton", its nice to be doing the embarrassing to a top team rather than being the team getting embarrassed by lower opposition.

I had a bad week in work the last 5 days and finished up at 11 last night, woke up at 5 this morning fresh as a daisy and full of the joys of life despite the bad week I had just had. I put it down to the perfect weekend of football results, I like this feeling and I would like to experience it a lot more often.

Admire your loyalty. But has'nt and never will have the quick brain for movement and ability to cope in the Prem. Maybe a pain in the backside for defenders but as a regular goalscorer that we need, forget it!
Not fair ,he had no service and did well with the scraps he got ,he has the makings just needs a goal then we can argue .I do think it will be the springboard his first goal .

A bit harsh. He played a very good game. He held the ball really well and won a lot of headers. Refreshing to see our striker holding the ball and getting it to a blue shirt while under pressure.

Considering the amount of headers he won, he probably has the ability to score a decent amount of goals from crosses. He just needs confidence.

All round great team performance and obviously KDH, Illy, Jordan etc. all played fabulously. Couple of other points from me.
1) the difference in mentality that Jack has brought was never more obvious, down to ten men, team reshuffled by losing Coleman so early, Jack wins us a foul and is smiling his head off! He looked so relaxed, he really believed we could hold on and backed that belief up by putting in an absolute shift in defence. That kind of confidence takes the stress out of the game for his team mates. But please Jack, take off the mental shackles that have you scared of shooting, you get into such good positions, don’t hesitate, shoot! The fans won’t love you less if you sky a few shots each game, just keep trying.
2) James Garners confidence in retaining and carrying the ball, allied to his work-rate meant our defenders always had an available out ball, terrific match from him.
3) Illy, the obvious points were his constant running at the ManU defence, but how well did he work and cover at right back in the second half? He was absolutely immense covering at the back.
4) Barry, that display was a proper centre forwards display (minus a goal obviously), he ran his nuts off, won every ball in the air, battled against three defenders for such a long time and (for me at least) has shown he has what it takes to lead the line in a Moyes team. I think if he gets his first goal soon he will go on a run. But even if he doesn't, if he continues to occupy the defence like he did last night, his team mates will score more because of him.
5) Moyes, not my preferred option but his tactics last night were 100%, his attacking intent went against everything I thought we would see from him and long may it continue. If you set us up to play every game like that then with the current team spirit we will win more than we lose, so keep it up!
6) finally the travelling fans. They were no better last night than they ever were, so I am not commenting on that, more that last night was what they deserved, more than the team, than Moyes, certainly more than me, sat on my arse watching it on the box. The fans (particularly the younger fans) need to see that we can compete, that we can build, not based on having a load of stars brought in at massive expense, but on team spirit, on endeavour and having just enough qualoty harnessed to that endeavour to take a chance when it comes along. This is how every good side starts its eveloution in
