I know it is easy to overestimate your own best players, but if we sold him for 70mil I'd be very disappointed. He's one of the best wingers in the league and for me it has to be closer to 100mil. We paid 40 for Dibling.

We're in a position now where we don't have to conceive of our players as financial assets and instead can build the team around them. Securing Branthwaite to a long term contract was the start

Agreed, mate. Either way, he's a great player who I'll be gutted to see go, hope we can get him tied down to a new, improved, long-term deal.

At the moment we hold all the cards on value.
Would love to see a new contract signed, but that would definitely come with a release clause.

Its a tricky situation, say you get an offer of 80mil in the summer or he signs a new contract with a 60mil
Release clause.
