New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I like the look of that, but I think I'd prefer it on the opposite side of the dock, so that we preserve the South Stand reflections on the water.

I think I would prefer them to extend the quayside slightly into the dock so that they can expand the South stand in the future (sightline permitting). It needn't affect the water reflections...

They are a result of Government legislation and are supposed to be independent and democratically elected bodies, complying with various set standards. I'm not sure that we can expect much more than that tbh.
I dont. That's my point.

You can point to one or two people with credibility who have been involved with the Everton edition of it, but it's not designed to effectively oppose commercial forces who want to control football clubs and exploit their fans.

Does anyone in Club View know the situation with transferring tickets to under 18s? I know it’s supposed to be over 18s only but the guy me and my Dad share our season tickets with wants to take his grandson to a game. I’ve seen under 18s in Club View when I’ve been but wondered if anyone had experience of it. Don’t want to send them down there and then they get turned away.
Had my 5 year old son in with me a couple times. No one said a thing. I didnt transfer the ticket to his name tho

I'm not sure how you can be more "effective" than being entirely independent and underpinned by government legislation. If there are grievances they can be communicated via the FAB and/or the various individuals and groups represented on that board. Fans have more power than they think.... it's always been a matter of unity. When that's there, even whole boards can be deposed.

. . . and that's the problem right there. It's impossible for individuals or groups to give a true representation of the views of the fans.
On practically ANY given subject you will never find agreement or 'unity' amongst a fanbase.
Just read through this forum.
I rest my case.

There is often a majority-opinion/consensus, and if there is a genuine concern, then an explanation or clarification can at least be sought..... and answers relayed back. It's up to the fans to judge if that is satisfactory or not.

Yes, and in EVERY case some will be satisfied while others will most certainly not. 🤷‍♂️
I'm not arguing against the idea BTW, just pointing out that it can never be truly representative of ALL fan views.

Nothing can be representative of ALL fan views, nor should it have to be. Various fan groups are represented on the FAB and individuals are elected to be representative of a very broad cross section. That way the club hopefully doesn't have to be answerable for nonsense or trivia..... and the more serious issues (if there are any) can be raised and hopefully addressed. No-one is saying that it's perfect.
