New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

It won't. From the UEFA Web site:

It'll be called Everton Stadium. There's also Dublin Arena, Manchester City Stadium, and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The name of the city will be on the half-way line ad boards, mind. But it IS our city.
Good to hear.

I bet Everton are telling the ambulance chasers they're moving heaven and earth to get UEFA to just call it H*** D******** Stadium.

That's what the FABs were set up for.

I'm sure the people who are involved are well meaning, but nothing as inorganic as an industry created fan group can ever be counted on to speak truth to power.

We're a fanbase that has produced fan groups like the Blue Union, KEIOC and the All Together Now alliance that saw off powerful and rich con-men and their handmaidens in the local state and media looking to shoehorn the club into dodgy stadiums and/or continue their corrupt control over the ownership of the club.

Can you imagine the Everton FAB throwing their hand in with those sort of fights...no, I cant either.
FAB are good if you want the quality of bog roll improving in the ground.

That type of stuff.

I’d be gutted if the first gig at our ground was The Foo Fighters, hopefully we get someone special.
But judging by our history of making the most of these opportunities I expect we will end up with someone who the Salt &Tar turned down.

The word on the street is that it's Kajagoogoo tribute band - 'Too Shy'.

Does anyone in Club View know the situation with transferring tickets to under 18s? I know it’s supposed to be over 18s only but the guy me and my Dad share our season tickets with wants to take his grandson to a game. I’ve seen under 18s in Club View when I’ve been but wondered if anyone had experience of it. Don’t want to send them down there and then they get turned away.

Until quite recently Dave Kelly was the chairman of the FAB. Previously he was also instrumental in both KEIOC and the Blue Union. I'm quite sure he would've led the FAB into whatever "fight" that was required. Just because you don't always hear of the details, it doesn't mean that major points have not been made or issues discussed.

That's not the point.

They placed themselves up for those positions to be voted in to in in order to (presumably) be an effective champion of fans facing exploitation, inconveniences and other issues. But all they're doing there is passing on criticism and passively receiving the bluff corporate answers without question.

It's a paper tiger. I think most people know that.

Whats more, I dont think they should be accepting any free tasters of 'quality' food from them as it could be said to compromise them.
It’s actually impressive how well you keep up this persistent moaning.

I’ve never seen such strong method acting in my life. You’re the Jeremy Strong of the forum. Living and breathing your little angry faced lemon.

I have a great deal of respect for Dave Kelly.

However, FAB are a creation of the football industry. There's no way around that. They coat-tailed the alliance of fans that acted concerning the convulsions of Headlock-gate.

The Establishment embrace will always neuter such organisations.

They are a result of Government legislation and are supposed to be independent and democratically elected bodies, complying with various set standards. I'm not sure that we can expect much more than that tbh.
