New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I agree with this caption.

I’ve been a few times now and just haven’t seen this at all. Maybe if you’re going in just before kickoff but that’s to be expected. He’s also weirdly decided to use a filter on his camera that makes it look as though people are sprinting around. The last one especially, everyone is standing still.

I noticed the rush after the match, before the match the main thing I noticed was how many were at everton way

Don’t agree with that. Always loads of people just relaxing in the plaza having a drink and chatting.

Or head round to the western terrace and people sitting there enjoying the sun and views on Saturday.

Don’t see people in a rush

Yeah, not felt rushed at all yet.

Even for the first game, when Everton way was PACKED, it still felt very spacious and fine.

The plaza, I find, there’s loads of space and people mill round beforehand. There’s plenty to do

The rush after the match is going to happen at every stadium in the country. Before the game It’s natural that people congregate around Everton Way this early on as people get a chance to see their stones. Not everyone is a season ticket holder.

But I haven’t seen any kind of rush on the fan plaza or Everton Way before the game.

Not saying it’s perfect yet but I haven’t seen what that post was describing.

Think if you're rushing about pre-match around the new place, you're doing it wrong. Take it all in, theres plenty of place to people watch from and just stand in awe of the place.

Even this weekend, I got there at 2 (which is late for me) and still had time to meet up with a few different people around the plaza, Everton Way, etc. Was in my seat with 15 to KO and that was a breeze too as they're getting much better with the turnstiles.

Goodison was more rushed, but that was usually because I was running up to my seat with 2 minutes to KO

True for now, but wait'll the severe weather arrives....there'll be no dawdling outside and the bottle necks will emerge. 🤔

I think there's a gradually (inceasingly so, wasnt the case the first few) more rushed vibe outside vs Goodison - particularly after the match. I figure people are rushing to get to Sandhills to try and beat queues etc, rushing to get out the wall. Last match I was having to move out the way for people behind me to get past - on the stairs leaving and outside - I can't ever recall that at Goodison.

When the weather isn't great - a big open space on the plaza, and along the water will see more people dive into the stadium. I think a few more seating areas in the fan zone, and some cover would work well - but it's a tough one as you need the space. It could be that space, that wasn't available outside Goodison - which allows people to rush about a bit more.

Would say the upper south concourse is great before the game as well.

Has the early kick off on, and it’s easy to get a drink.
