2025/26 Iliman Ndiaye

Grealish - On loan
Ndiaye - Linked to sides for £70mil+
Dibling - Limited minutes
McNeil - Off in January?

Those are our wide options.

It seems to me like both defensive and wide areas will need some wheeling and dealing.
Agree… I don’t think Ndiaye will go anywhere until at least summer

Depending on how we do, arguably will keep for another season.

I’d wager we need a seasoned striker, the two we have whether good enough or not, at least on of them needs time to settle. But at the moment I’m not convinced by either

I think we need to be using 2 attacking full backs to get the best out of Ndiaye and Grealish.

We also need to play a faster, direct game to suit Ndiaye. With Barry and dare I say KDH (Yesterday) the workhorses, this should create some space for the wide players - with attacking full backs.

I could see us selling Ndiaye if an offer came in for £80mil. Not so much because we need the money, i think he'll be tempted by a top side, high wages and we'll use the money to add to Dibling.

Grealish may stay with the Ndiaye sale going to his costs and 2 other wide players with McNeil also moved on.

Thats what i expect to happen unless Ndiaye signs a new contract before March.

You'd definitely think McNeil will be getting touted around before he enters his final 12 months — not nobody is paying anything more than a few million for him. Still, we should take what we can get. Extremely concerning that he's apparently deemed more important than £40m Dibling though.

I think Ndiaye will be here next season definitely, and Grealish we'll only have a chance if we can negotiate his fee down to £30m or something, and no reason at all why City should be inclined to do that.

Dibling looked good enough for the league last season, so extremely baffling why he's not deemed good enough now.

City will want Grealish off the books and i think £25mil gives them breakeven on the fee for their books. If we sign Grealish, he's 31 in September so we would also need to sign a young player to develop behind him for 2-3 years time - I'd be after Monga at Leicester.

Ndiaye may stay and then Dibling will be his rotation.

The transfer market has jumped up and McNeil can deliver and has proven he can deliver for lower end premier league teams. I think we can get £20mil for him, he's only 25.

If we ended up in a position to sell McNeil and with no choice on Ndiaye then that could be around £100mil in fees. As we would already have Dibling then that money could revamp the wide options in the squad.

I see this as a win win either way. Though i'd definitely say we should keep Ndiaye.

I agree with almost everything, but I can't see any way whatsoever than a club looks at McNeil with £20 million and doesn't think there's far better out there.

He could go tbf. Hes amazing quality. It’s upto us to go out and try and find someone who can carry the ball like him. Either that or convince him we are going places and we promise we are going to invest more and become a top team. It’s more likely the first option. However at least with Branthwaite and N’Diaye we have about 150m of assets that if needs be get us a good return.

He wasn't quite as lively as usual yesterday but - is it just me or has he become incredibly two-footed this season since moving to the right? His goal last week and an absolute peach of a cross to Barry early on on Saturday were both on his left. I swear he wasn't that comfortable on his left last season

Actually I think he scored loads more with his left last season than I remembered. Shows what I know.
