Pretty sure he had the ball, lost it, when he nearly gave away a foul trying to get it back, it rolled to N’daiye’s feet no?
At least he put in a challenge and retrieved it,if it had been a foul VAR would have been all over it. Not a fan,but credit where it's due.

Anyway... it was a point AWAY, on a MONDAY NIGHT, against a TEAM IN FORM, and all without a good striker.
I am not moaning. Of course, others will, because that is what they do.

Same everywhere you go mate, forums are really good but we all have our fair share of supporters spouting absolute nonsense. Moan when you lose, moan when you win, moan when you draw.Nature of the beast 😂 .

The without a good striker thing will go on until at least January and very possibly longer than that.

Sunderland played us believing all their own hype and we're trying to play like they're more than just a load of huffers and puffers who get loads behind the ball and stop teams playing; they were quickly disabused of that notion when Everton gave them a high press and they couldn't find each other with the ball. If the Barry effort goes in that'd have been a bloodbath up there.

They played like their lives depended upon it yesterday and got a result of sorts....just...and against a clearly weary and off form Arsenal team who are beginning to feel the CL/PL weekly double take its toll.

Sunderland will finish bottom half/mid-table.
