Ludicrous how much a miss like that sucks the confidence out of the whole team. Same story every week this season.

A singular or infrequent miss will not have too much of an impact, but each and every game we're missing from a yard or two. That will have an impact!

The defence know they're going to be under pressure at some point, and one mistake / goal means a victory is unlikely.

I thought he was pretty good too. No one is giving him the benefit of the doubt after a miss like that. I’d let him try to play through it a little longer.

Sadly I do fancy Sunderland to equalize. All of Everton’s best spells of that half were from pouncing on cheap giveaways and those started drying up after about 25 minutes.
