Thing is though, mate, he’s been given the captaincy there and is undoubtedly the main man. Would he have been given that trust here? Would he have clicked with our forwards like he has with theirs? Obvs we’ll never know, but I think it’s possible to give a club kudos for a signing without it necessarily being true that we missed out.
