Never in a million years is this buffoon a Premier League standard striker. How on earth someone looked at him and thought "yup, he seems like he's worth about twenty five mil, we'll take him" is beyond me.

Think the only reason we signed him was because we couldn’t rely on DCL being fit .. we had no other options and he was the only player a club would release with ZERO money being paid up front … and the inflated fee was because of that down payment ..

This league is beyond him. His movement and anticipation are so lousy. he needs a slower tempo to perform. We are stuck with him for a while and will be humbled in the league because of it as Moyes loves to start him regardless.

He's proven he can bang in a few which means he's worth around 15M. That doesn't mean he's good, just probably the best option now.

We definitely seem like we are a decent striker away. Its just that's the hardest and most expensive position to fill. Even when one is available (Delap) Chelsea just scoops him up to play in their loan-a-rama

He had a flash of form and improvement at the end of last season but back now to where he was before ! Simply not good enough .. Need barry starting every game and at least he should improve . His movement is much better ( not hard i know ) and i think if he can get a goal it would be massive for his confidence .. hopefully today will be his day. COYB
