2025/26 Dwight McNeil

Still think been a decent transfer by the club but as a team we hsve moved on and that happens in football. Could tell early in season the cup game his attitude was not the same and his heart not in it. Also his age and talent whatever people think of him is too good for u21 football. Best solution is a transfer for him in jan and we replace him

If he’s not going to contribute under Moyes then let’s sell and get a player in in Jan who can. There’ll be a few players wanting to make a run at the World Cup who aren’t getting enough football that might be interested in joining mid season.

Doesn’t bode well for the weekend if they were thinking of giving him minutes..

He isn’t getting minutes in the league for us this season barring a horrendous injury list.

He is 4th choice in his actual position
(Grealish, Ndiaye, Alcaraz),

probably 5th choice at RW (Ndiaye, Dibling, Alcaraz, garner) and then

probably 6th/7th choice at CAM (KDH, Ndiaye, Alcaraz, Dibling, Grealish, Tim).

He will be gone in January. He has been important for us at times and has a decent g/a record for us. But we have moved on in how we play and set up.

I was heavily championing him being sold in the summer. Especially, as it turns out, since we could 'only' afford a £30m striker and no real full backs.

Now his value will have dropped further and we'll get next to nothing for him when if we're lucky enough to find a buyer for him.

Him, Patterson and Beto should have been out of the doors as quickly as possible in the summer to make funds for two strikers.

Look what we've been left with — an appalling situation where we're left with two absolutely horrific strikers on long contracts.
