We literally did it at Anfield. IMO an even more beatable team than City for us because we don’t have to risk Haaland being 1v1 against Keane or Tarkowski to have a go.

The Moyes conservatism (some might even say cowardice) is going to nowhere. It will take a different manager.
We literally did it at home against Crystal Palace just because they were on a good run.

No fight until going behind in these games.

Unfortunately we're going to get massively groped here, especially without Grealish playing. Huge potential to get destroyed by a good number of goals, especially with the form of Haaland. Let's at least hope we don't pick up any injuries or suspensions, that would be a kind of victory in David's book.
Grealish doesn't add much to our defense so I'd expect us to be fairly solid at the back. We will undoubtedly miss Grealish going forward and no amount of charly will make up for it. could see this being a 1-1 or 1-0

Everton arrive with quiet defiance, burdened by little but lifted by belief. There is steel in our stride and a whisper of mischief in the wind.....enough, perhaps, to trouble the kings for a moment.

Yet City play like time itself - measured, certain, and cruel. One lapse, one breath too slow, and the moment is gone. Everton may stir the storm, but the calm that follows may be a light blue sky.

Still… football is a strange old beast. If the bar gets rattled, the ref looks kindly, and Pickford channels something biblical, well, why not? Stranger things have happened on a soggy Saturday.
