Dwight McNeill bound to be selected .....
We literally did it at home against Crystal Palace just because they were on a good run.We literally did it at Anfield. IMO an even more beatable team than City for us because we don’t have to risk Haaland being 1v1 against Keane or Tarkowski to have a go.
The Moyes conservatism (some might even say cowardice) is going to nowhere. It will take a different manager.
Because Grealish cant play, I'd like to see Charly up front. Why ?
Dyche is no longer here and he didn`t exactly cover himself in glory during his one and only start in the cup defeat.
Can he catch a ball properly ?they signed the current champions league winning goalkeeper tbf
Grealish doesn't add much to our defense so I'd expect us to be fairly solid at the back. We will undoubtedly miss Grealish going forward and no amount of charly will make up for it. could see this being a 1-1 or 1-0Unfortunately we're going to get massively groped here, especially without Grealish playing. Huge potential to get destroyed by a good number of goals, especially with the form of Haaland. Let's at least hope we don't pick up any injuries or suspensions, that would be a kind of victory in David's book.
The power of Pep! He speaks, they listen!Haaland been sent home early by the Norwegian FA so the poor lamb can rest before he faces the Mighty Blues
...and not set us up in the manner of his previous 1st half debaclesBelieve me, this match, and with the team we have, is winnable. Moyes just have to know how to manage the timing and substitutions.
Give us a drag of that ciggieEverton arrive with quiet defiance, burdened by little but lifted by belief. There is steel in our stride and a whisper of mischief in the wind.....enough, perhaps, to trouble the kings for a moment.
Yet City play like time itself - measured, certain, and cruel. One lapse, one breath too slow, and the moment is gone. Everton may stir the storm, but the calm that follows may be a light blue sky.
Still… football is a strange old beast. If the bar gets rattled, the ref looks kindly, and Pickford channels something biblical, well, why not? Stranger things have happened on a soggy Saturday.
Give us a drag of that ciggie
We got a draw there last season ....Yet another team we have a shocking record with in recent years. I’d be happy with a draw
