Player Valuation: £35m
With La Liga and Serie A allowing their teams to play actual league games abroad,

Villarreal Vs Barcelona in Miami
Como Vs AC Milan in Perth (Australia, not Scotland)

Uefa have said they are powerless to stop it as there is no specific legislation to stop it. Should they look to bring something in to stop it in the future though? These clubs are making around £5m each for a one off game, plus any commercial tie ins they can get. How long will it be before teams in the Premier League look at this?

On the one hand, as fans based in the UK, who go to games and pride themselves on the fact that have been to every home game for decades, this threatens what makes the league so special and risks the key part of what makes the league. That is the fans in the stadium. Once you take that away what is left?

The other side of it is PSR, with clubs being held back because their spending is tied to revenue, should they then be allowed to maximise their revenue to compete on the pitch?

Clubs spending being tied to the revenue they generate is a good thing if it stops clubs getting into such financial problems that they may be forced to close down for good. The problem is that several clubs managed to get a head start when money rolled into the game so that they are now so far of the rest there is little chance of other teams catching them now that there are rules in place. La Liga and Serie A teams wanting to cash in on playing games overseas is because clubs there are looking for new ways to close the gap on the cash the PL teams can generate.
Sadly its just another example of the game being less for the people the watch the games and more about the £££££.

Sounds great, let Barcelona finish that new stadium and play all their games in Tennessee or wherever, can play a weeks continuous PL games at their derelict stadium. Sort of like the Rugby League big weekender. Put hundreds of thousands of PL supporters in the melting pot of las ramblas and make a sunny week away of it. What could go wrong.

Get your passports ready blues we're of to ... checks listings .. . North Korea to play Leeds. Wait a second that's actually still an Elland Road fixture so it's still a really rough place to go.

Sadly, its probably just a matter of when, not if, now..

That whole Superleague saga, could have been the last big 'fan based call..

Money, Money, Money
