2025/26 David Moyes

Martinez is a charlatan.

But he rolls the dice, chances his arm: the very definition of a chancer.

Moyes refuses to risk...anything. He's wedded to mediocrity, "just enough", pluckiness.

He's done really well since he returned, but the home draw with the worst United team in my lifetime was the big tell of last season. While we all celebrated his fast rescue job, the way we blew a 2-0 lead to that feeble United side summed up Moyes. Even when he has you at his mercy, he chokes, battens down the hatches, and wriggles out of responsibility by pointing to iffy officiating as the reason we didn't win that game.

He got us safe. Full credit for that. I understand people want another season of stability. But that HAS to be it if we have any notions of genuinely transforming the club from plucky knife-wielders to serious gunfighters.
Charaltan: a person falsely claiming to have a special knowledge or skill.

My growing issue with Moyes is that we're starting to see over the past couple of seasons the sky six 's grip over the premier league isn't as dominant as it previously was, but Moyes' mentality still seems to stuck in the past where he has mental obstacles in playing those teams. The way football has developed parking bus the entire game is not feasible with ultra attacking teams like Liverpool. I have respect for Moyes overall this is more a venting session lol

Two Michael Mouse trophies.
At least three of those four trophies could be described as such.

However, the big takeaway from that montage is how sad it is to see those two Bill Kenwright-appointed managers lift trophies...but not with us.

What an indictment of Kenwright's mismanagement.

The point now is our club no longer has to be underfunded. Therefore, at the end of the season, I hope to see us move on to a manager who can take the risks required at the right time to win honours - while driving us up the league table. We all know Moyes will write off the FA Cup when he gets an unfavourable draw or he feels going further endangers his race for 10th place in the league.

He couldn't win a euros or world cup with one of the best national team squads in the world , he's a well dressed clown
Ha Ha Ha.

He took the Dog and Duck to the FA Cup final and beat a team assembled fr £200M at the time.

He was Belgiums greatest ever manager and now one of Portugal's best ever managers.

He set a PL points record for us and got us to two domestic cup SFs in three season.

He transformed Swansea and put them on the path to the PL.

He's a genius compared to that gormless get Moyes.

Yes, first test coming soon against City…

Guy Thys is Belgium's greatest ever manager. He took them to a European Championship final and a World Cup semi-final.

Fernando Santos blows Roberto out of the water in Portugal, too, winning Euro 2016.

Winning the cup at Wigan was a magnificent achievement, however, one Moyes hasn't matched. The way Martinez unravelled at Everton, though, is a massive stain on his career. A manager of moments - sometimes, great moments - but not one for the long road.

Sings a great foreign national anthem, mind.
