The fans

Evertonians?

I think in these days of extreme bias towards the top clubs from media, refs, pgmol etc. to ensure the premier league cash- cow stays profitable, any fan who faithfully supports the also-rans teams deserves respect.

For the most part we all hope for, rather than expect, better times. I believe maintaining the hope, the faith, is tougher for those of the also-rans who have seen glory days (no matter how distant the memory is).

As the James song goes, ‘If I hadn’t seen such riches, I could live with being poor’

I have always considered fans of the likes of Tranmere, Accrington etc. to be the best fans. These fans never see, nor have they ever seen success, yet they turn out week after week to pay their hard earned spending money to their chosen team.

They will probably attack one of our heroes who has been voted player of the season numerous times and claim that a donkey is better than him.

Part 2 - Pickford is a downgrade of Robles says the sleeper agent.

Agreed.

The loudest voice is the one without the power or wits to do anything else about it, but still desperately waiting to be noticed. Probably compensating for othet deficiencies in their life too so letting out angst.
Definitely the need to be noticed, the fear of missing out on the new global trend..
Half the time they couldn't even give a reason behind their actions, its that jump onto the bandwagon thats rushing past..

Have your own opinion, don't jump on someone else's, be open to acccept that a different view point is just as important as yours and can help you look at something from a different angle..

( Sorry, probably just went completely off topic )

Not bothered? 🤔

I think the best way to answer Chico's questions is to take a fact-based approach. The role of supporters is to support the team. If we look at Everton's record over the last 30 trophyless years, we see many changes in players, managers, executives, Toffee Ladies, ownership and even the stadium. The one constant has been the fans. Therefore, scientifically we must conclude that Everton have not been well supported and it is the fans' fault they have been so unsuccessful.

I appreciate that many will not like to hear this but the facts don't care about your feelings.

Have to agree with this.

Remember when we played United in the semi-final of the FA Cup under Martinez and they wanted us to get defeated so he would be sacked.
