2025/26 David Moyes

It's indicative of his priorities.

Who on earth half an hour before a derby is thinking about getting that irritant McCoist sorted out with tickets or passes?

It's pathetic. It just underlines how much he rates the importance of these fixtures, probably because he cant handle the pressure of them.
You do know that Moyes was a boyhood Celtic fan don't you, a very close affiliation with your first love..

Sorry to burden you with the guilt, but Celtic don't look fondly on personal attacks of people with close bonds to them..

If you didn't know, that must be a painful realisation, if you did know, I'm sorry, but you've just been castrated by your boys...

Let’s take the shackles off a bit and bin the fear off for the next few matches eh Davey, and tell Pickford and Tarks to knock the hoof off as well.

We’ve signed some decent footballers, let’s start trusting them a bit more, and playing to their strengths.
What fear?

Am I watching different games? We have played every game on the front foot, sure we got a bit slapped in the first half yesterday, but we arent playing with fear.

That 1st half was down to Moyes' conservatism. Scared of their press that we'd just hoof it forward everytime.
We only started playing once we were two down and the RS tried to sit on their lead.

He did the same at Leeds, played it safe and it cost us.

Nah we sat off them until we were two goals down. This is a front foot team. They don’t have the defenders without Brathwaite to sit back against anyone and they did yesterday until it was too late.

Only wanted Moyes as an interim manager and his style of play is why.
He knows we need left and right backs yet let’s upgrade such as Lampty and Tete go elsewhere.
He knew we needed a goward NOW but bought one for the future.

This is managerial incompetence and coupled with our DoF already stating the January window is a no no we are stuck with what we have.

Alcatraz didn’t really show enough last season to warrant his signing but we did.

We have a young forward banging them in but apparently he is too young? As opposed to the older Beto and Barry who can’t hit a cows arse with a shovel?

Well Alcaraz showed more in 6 months than his replacement that we spent 27m on has shown in his entire career but that doesn’t really matter so much because we shouldn’t be bringing a player in that the manager doesn’t actually want to use. We won’t lose money on him and most likely will actually turn a profit but it’s bad to be showing that we don’t actually care to play and develop talented young players.

TBH I would not mind if he really chose to sit deep in first half given Liverpool had played midweek. The problem is that the team did not really sit deep. They were caught between.

The two goals they scored were basic errors. Moyes should do better than that. If the game plan was to push Grealish and Hall up to pick up the ball, you must have a cover plan at the back but so far it is very muddled.

We need to do better in the next two games to show we are serious to finish top half this season.

I like Moyes, but he's the Biggest defeatist manager going against the big teams. He's more negative then Dyche, but not as cute as Fat Sam to get things ugly. One day if Moyes learns subs and finds half a bollock he will be boss...rather than just good.
