2025/26 Jack Grealish

Literally just about to post this.

I love his brutal honesty, and it's about time someone said it how it is, especially live on air.

Well in Jack šŸ’™
And if you listen to the interviewer, it’s like she cringed and kept trying to change the subject. Everyone is afraid to say what’s obvious to a billion people. And he said it respectfully.

I'll enjoy seeing him in blue this season, but, I think between his wages and the transfer fee, it might not be financially possible for us to get him on a permanent at the end of the season. I live in hopes though as he is some footballer.
It wouldn't be unnoticed that he's definitely making a difference, on the pitch and feel good factor. The owners should be saving the pennies now

The fee would have to come down to a number that City are never going too accept though and that's before you even start on the wages. People need to remember he is 30 years old. If by some small miracle we can scrape a Euro place and have a bit more income from somewhere we might be able to put something together, but tbh Id just enjoy him whilst he is here.

Sums up the (one of many) issues with modern footy, or at least the prem, for me this. Fantastic player, who could well have spent this season wasted on the sidelines at City. Delighted we got him but what a waste to footy in general if there is a risk that players as talented and good to watch as Jack aren't playing week in week out, whoever it is they are playing for. Hope we do whatever is needed to sign him on a perm.

Wow. Just seen his post match comments. He is a serial winner and a team player.

That combination is so rare in modern football.

I have fallen in love with the fella. Please sign him Everton.

This is my default stance to avoid heartbreak. That being said he'll be in the final year of his contract at the end of the season and can't see city wanting to renew so think there is a deal to be done.
Today he was quick to thank moyes for giving him the chance to love football again and wake up happy on matchdays. He's loving being here as much we are to have him, for now thats enough. Anything else can be dealt with when we get there
