3 minutes was objectively funny 🤣

Utterly unbothered by that result. The sad fact is we’re barely playing the same sport as them currently.

They brought on two SUBSTITUTES each of whom cost more (apparently) than 9 of our starting XI added together.

Was far more annoyed drawing to Villa
Really? I thought they never spent anything on players :bye:

Bossed the second half, an improvement
In quality in the forward line for us there, in recent times, great to see us with some spirit and fighting back taking the game to them.

We could have improved in the first half by being on our toes more and aware of the threat down their inside right channel over the top.
Pickford must be the eyes to that happening and bark more at the defenders handing people on and facing up.

To punish teams in future we need to be more clinical in taking the half chances created to make them pay which will lead to keeping them on the back foot.

Let's just put this behind us and move on.

Too little too late. Even when we did come into the game, the off the ball movement was poor. Grealish had nobody to work with on the left. Just felt like it was slow and there was so much space to exploit in the midfield in the second half

Too much respect/fear from Davey and the boys first half, gave them the foothold and we were always chasing then. There is still a huge mentality issue with the squad, except for Jack and a couple of the other new lads.

Subs frustrating again, could have made them sooner, but second half they were hanging on badly.

Barry has played himself into the side, and I’d like to see more of Alcaraz and Dibling, looked comfortable when they came on.

Jack Grealish was incredible, if the ref had done his job properly he could have turned Bradley even more inside out than he did.

Sign him on the back of that performance and for his amazing interview after the match - said everything we were all thinking and feeling, and doesn’t give a shabite about that lot, simply a winner.

The defeat does not define our season. They won the title last year and have thrown silly money at that squad. We went to their ground, started like strangers, then grew into the game and by the second half we were the better side. On another day we would have at least come away with a point. If we can start games with that same intensity we will be fine this season. Compared to the dross we have had to watch the last few years, this is a step up.

I know some will not like hearing it, but we only have ourselves to blame for a lot of the last decade. We spent like drunken sailors and most of it was on absolute garbage. If we had got those decisions right it could have been us wearing the gold badge. That is why I cannot get on board with people moaning about the RS spending. We wasted fortunes, they spent properly, as much as it pains me to say it.

Moyes deserves credit. He has given us structure, discipline and a bit of fight. But he still spouts nonsense and the deflection routine is painful to listen to. He winds me up every time he opens his mouth. Results matter more than interviews though, and right now he has us playing some of the best football we have seen in years, although the bar was pretty low on that.
