Need to beat West Ham and Palace to get back on track. 7 from 5 is average and we need to really end up with 13 from 7 and progression in the cup for it to have been a ‘decent’ start.

It's all so blatant and it'll never change because the game is corrupt to the core.

Of course I'm not blaming the loss on that. It's down to how we started the game but corrupt officials clearly robbing teams of a fair shot.

It's not incompetence. If it was incompetence, there would be a somewhat equal amount of poor decisions for both sides in games. When their decisions and things like time added on benefit certain teams in a disproportionate manner, then it's done on purpose. There's no other explanation.

Without a good striker we will miss out on the European spots. It was obvious we were well short there and at full back. But in fairness there was so much work to do this summer.

Our full backs offer nothing offensively. Unfortunately great job as Moyes has done that sums up his safety first approach.

Until we change that mindset and personnel we won't make really significant progress.

That said Moyes will comfortably get us to mid table and that is undoubtedly progress. It's just not enough

I was going to give it to Jack Grealish as he was the only who looked likely to cause a threat but I gave it to Gana as he got our fans out of their seats and gave them the faintest bit of hope we could get something out of the game but alas!!

With a far worse team and Dyche at the helm AND a massive points deduction, I believe points-wise we would have finished 12th. All areas have improved. So the way I see it, it has to be top 10 to at least call it success. Have us finish 7th or 8th at a minimum. If not, we have to change managers and really take a look at what’s going on. So yeah, mid table is not good enough. We finished that way with PSR around our necks and not much talent. Sort of hard to argue against mid table now being labeled a success.

Even within the 3 mins injury time there was a lot of time wasting but the ref had got the job done and was looking forward to the ‘hospitality’ later….

David Moyes should design some patterns to let Grealish roam more freely. Currently he is still playing as a left winger. As the game moves on the opposite side put 2 or 3 people on him. Slot basically put Szoboszlai and Brandley both on him in the 2nd half.

Grealish needs to exchange positions with no 10 or right winger occasionally. We must try this.

I don’t get the love in with Grealish especially today, I thought Ndaiye was the only one offering a fight to Liverpool especially in the first half, apart from a very good pass to Dewsbury Hall what did he do?

So did I , so was Barry actually any good when he came on ? live been critical of him so far , let’s say he has a better touch than Beto and can hold the ball up better but what I can’t see in him is any goal threat whatsoever so far or any sense of drive and determination, seen a lot of comments today that he was also sh1t3 in the air today?
