This fixture and Leeds opening game were tough games to have in the first five on paper. Probably more disappointed with the missed opportunity against Villa last week than today in a weird sense.

Anyway it’s out the way. Nice run of fixtures now until mid December and feel the first 5 games have been decent given the worries of pre season form. Team is starting to gel and expect us to be comfortable by the time December comes around.

David Moyes should design some patterns to let Grealish roam more freely. Currently he is still playing as a left winger. As the game moves on the opposite side put 2 or 3 people on him. Slot basically put Szoboszlai and Brandley both on him in the 2nd half.

Grealish needs to exchange positions with no 10 or right winger occasionally. We must try this.

It just made me feel worse for the the draw last weekend.

I think oftentimes that is correct, but let's be honest, we spend a lot of money right behind him and to expect them to constantly kick 50/50 balls into space for him is not logical.

If we'd been 2-1 up no way they add 3 minutes on it would have been about 7 or 8 at the least

To put things in perspective after today, 7 points from 15, in the past few seasons the first 5 have gone as follows

23/24 - 4 defeats, 1 draw (again first win was game 6, took 10 games to hit 9 points)

In reality it was only three pts after 10 thanks to the corrupt PL and vvank biscuit in chief Richard Masters.
