Three minutes is indeed corrupt - six second half subsitutions = 6 x 30second = 3 minutes.

Add in having to retake free kicks.

Listening to the commentary and watching from home and there were several times were throw ins to Everton went to Reds, balls kept in and should have been a corner. As for the number of fouls from Bradley on Grealish (five at a minimum) without him getting booked. Booking KDH for taking a free kick and Grealish for highlighting the referee's ineptitude.

It never changes at the cesspool.
can add, in the first half, there was 4 clear times of contact from behind that weren't given, while they got frees, once was the slightest brush and flail. add the ref placing himself in prime space for Everton players to play in, and the bias in advantage played, with signs of willing them forward.

Modern sport is a game of percentages (although the nature of football somehwat counter this) - they just get those percentages handed to them.

Only showing up after being two goals down cost us the game.

We can’t compete in these games when the opposition have three very mobile and technical midfielders, and we have two good but lower calibre midfielders. Constantly overrun and struggling to get a hold in the game.

The situation up front is a big concern. A lionheart with the technical ability of a potato and a young prospect making a big jump up is not a recipe for success.

It's a shame we only started playing when 2-0 down - but I've seen that so many times with this club.

We did play well in the second half and some of our newer players weren't intimidated by the opposition.

It's noticeable how lacking in pace we are.

We have improved but I'm still disappointed by the attitude in which we started the game.

It was noticeable the referee crapped himself when we pulled a goal back, a booking for taking a free kick early? But still, I can't complain at the result when you give the opposition a cushion begin to play when the pressure is off.

I know we lost but we have the makings of a decent side.

To have so many players that are comfortable on the ball is refreshing after the last half dozen years - integrate Barry into the team and get Branners back and we can take a European place this season.
Agree. But we're also going to need a manager prepared to ease the reins a bit or take off the handbrake.

First half hour I thought we were really disappointing, aimless long punts and vulnerable on the counter.

Second half we moved the ball better and looked more of a threat and just lacking that touch of class and I’m gutted we didn’t get at least a draw.

Imo we have certainly improved on last season and next season we have to be looking at better options at left back, right back and centre forward.

First half an hour was pathetic, no other word for it. The ref gave them stupid 50/50s and the 3 mins was a joke but the first 30 is why we lost.

Yes we played decent after that but I've little interest in patting ourselves on the back for, what, not getting mullered?

We need to be better mentally, we can't accept playing alright after the damage is done.

Get bored saying it but both full backs are so far away from being able to compete properly at this level. Thought N'Diaye and Grealish played well, but imagine how much better they would be if they had decent footballers behind them. Someone who the opposition aren't delighted to see on the ball.
Yeah thing is even if obrien is at rb could do it if had atleast an attacking lb but we dont. Is like having 4 cb really. Hopefully we can finally see the club bring in a long term rb and aznou can kick on
