Started playing in the second half. Barry didn't have much more of an impact on it than Beto though I'm sure Beto will get it in the neck for us being slow starters today and not playing most of that first half.

Most impressive thing for me was their time wasting second half. They were genuinely terrified we were going to hurt them.

They overestimated our ambition to hurt them.

1 Fullbacks are issues. No attacking threat it allows the opposite to double or triple on our wingers too easily.

2 Game management has been horrible for the last 2 games. Refusing to put on subs to seize the momentum in the 2nd half.

3 Barry should start even without goal he contributes a lot by his movements

Agreed....I didn't understand the free kick right at the end. Ok, Liverpool player is fouled but they still have the ball. Why not play advantage? Plus how on earth was it only 3 minutes added.

Sadly it's hard to get a result there when you only play well for half a game. It's ts hard enough when the officials clearly don't allow it to be fair.

Can't really say we didn't deserve to lose though. You can't turn up as poor as we were in the first half and not end up with a mountain to climb.

It's a shame because there was a result here for us and we put ourselves in a bad position through lack of belief early on.
