Our record is truly dreadful, 1 win in the last 5 doesn't look that bad but the fact we've only won there twice in the last 30 attempts is shocking. But what is worse is the fact we've only won 3 in the last 34 visits and 4 in the last 45... it goes on!

None of that matters. Not the same players and new game. The history is just a set of individual games. They have zero impact on today. All this does is fixes a negative in the brain, and if managers and players take notice that will have an impact. Forget history and focus upon today.

So you’re saying we’re due a win?
Fingers crossed... we live in hope and we know that is what kills us.

I don't think David Moyes goes to Anfield, a ground he has never won at in 20 attempts and opens up to 'have a go' like some are suggesting.

Moyes will 100% take the pragmatic approach as he always does.

Who is the referee? My money is on him scoring a 103rd minute winner for them—a spectacular half volley from 12 yards.

PS Moyes should sellotape our defence's arms to their sides for this as VAR will be positively foaming at the mouth about awarding them a non-penalty penalty.
Exactamundo. If theres a sniff of a penno then VAR will give it. The bbc after will say ‘a clear push on Trent, the greatest footballer of all time…’

Darren England.. A ref who doesn't usually bottle it when he's refereeing them they've won 2 out of 6 with him as ref. Even sent off Curtis Jones V's spurs. Probably the last ref they'd want. Watch him bottle it today.

The market implied expectation of the score from the exchange prices for h/a/d and the over/under markets for goals is approximately:

Liverpool 2.13 - Everton 0.93

They make them 1.2 goal favourites in a game with an expectation of a bit over 3 goals. It’s always wierd seeing fractions of a goal but this is a bit like xG but driven by what is forecasted by the traded markets before the game.

Feels about right.
