This is quite a specific example of something which makes me fume, but it is worth sharing anyway. I find it annoying when people walk through buffet restaurants or all inclusive buffets without an awareness of their surroundings. These individuals are either on their phones or walking carelessly despite others trying to hold food around them.

But they don’t all hand out billions in contracts to their mates in a national emergency.

Quite important that bit.

But they talk about the need for tax to address the issues left by the previous government, unless it will cost them.

Sadly, I believe, that if they get the opportunity to hand out cash to mates or union backers, national emergency or not, they will.

Wife and I, she is Irish, got tickets to an Ireland game in Bordeaux at Rugby World Cup. Needed to get to airport for journey home. Bus timetable said bus at 06:30, from outside hotel. We are stood at bus stop, obviously looking non French, as a you couple walked past and one just said “good luck” to us.

Bus timetables in France aren’t any better as a guide or toilet paper
