That photo of Dave Hickson heading home is a fantastic photo. Any kids reading - that’s how you head a ball. Smack on the forehead, eyes wide open.
I’m almost sure the player in the background is Stan Milburn when he was with Leicester. I saw him loads of times when he was at Rochdale. One day shortly after he’d retired I was walking across the warehouse of the place I was working at and who should be walking the other way pushing a sack truck but Stan.! Can you see that happening with today’s players. He played for and coached the works team until he was past 50. A lovely bloke with no edge at all. He was Bobby and Jack Charlton’s uncle.

A young kevin Sheedy started his professional career at his local club Hereford United. He went on to have a very illustrious career with - His trademark was his wand of a left foot.& that stupid lot sold him to us for just £200,000 :D -
