The choice is would I rather get a punch in the face or a kick in the balls. Play anyone else up front.

Not writing off Barry yet but he needs time, lots of it.
Beto is going to cost us many points this season.
That’s why I scored the summer transfer as medium getting rid of 2 forwards which I know they either wasn’t a great loss but not to being in one experienced forward and rely on both lads for half the season was more concerning to me than a right back, hope I’m proved wrong in spades

Play both v Liverpool, 3 -5 -2 / 5 -3-2 with wingbacks and just attack, may as well go down trying than sitting back and still losing 1 or 2 -0. Moyes has never own there so he may as well try something different.

Can't believe 70% have gone for Beto.
He can't even control a through ball / pass Everything just bounces off him.
It's about playing to his strengths, a ball from the keeper played into him is not his game.
You have to play it beyond him that he can chase onto hussle and hassle cause chaos like Brentford away where he was unfortunate not to have a bag full.

Barry is great in the air and an exciting prospect.
It is right that he is being eased in to the pace of the premier League games to begin with.

The more chances they get, the more they will score.

yup

The Beto criticism is excessive in my opinion, is he a top 6 striker? , not at all but he's not atrocious, people over scrutinize every aspect of a player now. I think hes a decent player with some flaws , hes scored 2 goals in 5 matches so far (one of them being a league cup match). Barry in my opinion has the attributes to become a quality striker and thus a greater capacity for growth but he's going to take more time to settle in and adapt to a new league. I'm willing to accept that he's going to need some space to acclimate this also the reason Moyes prefers players with premier league experience although it's very rare to find am established prolific premier League strikers for under 50 million. That's why we were going after delap but he opted for Chelsea as he wanted champions League.

To be fair Barry off ball movement is elite.

Beto, sometimes good, sometimes a bit daft.

There were occasions that if he should let the ball roll to the other side where teammates were in plenty of space rather than taking an impossible touch himself. Need some more space awareness.
