New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Not sure I agree mate, our season ticket waiting list is huge and Evertonians should be in those seats.
I sit in lower west and there's 10 rows maybe that were empty for the Brighton game and Roma, although against villa most were taken.
One empty seat not taken by a blue is one too many, not counting those who can't make it for some reason.
10 full rows ?

As a non member I wonder when I'll get to see us again at home.
Your best chance is if a member buys one in the ballot or resale site then it turns out they can't go. They can forward you the email with the ticket and you don't need a membership, just a Google or Apple wallet on your phone - there's someone on the resale page on this forum who's looking like he'll be selling one this way for the Palace game.

I'm surprised how many spares have been available for the first few games tbh.

He has a point though. If you really want to go, buy a membership. It’s the cost of a few dishes from the Chinese takeaway these days. If you don’t want to pay on principle, then miss out and don’t go. It’s as cut and dried as that really.

It's not.

Barriers to tickets will prevent a lot of people becoming supporters.

Think people going their first game who otherwise wouldn't - like people who take nieces/nephews etc, students in the city etc.

Whatever way we spin it, a seasonal paid membership, whether matchweek 1 or 38 to enter a lottery for tickets isn't good for fans.

When there are tickets left over at the Amex - Brighton, and there usually are, then members can buy tickets for guests. it seems we are now doing a lot of the things Brighton have been doing for a while - so maybe we will go that route too if/when we don't sell out with members.

General question - does anyone know roughly how many Forever Blue+ members there are? And how many of the lower tier? I've seen online reports of people trying the ballot for every game and not getting any joy. I'm just wondering if we know roughly how many are bidding for how many tickets - although maybe they don't want this information public as it helps the resellers and their dynamic pricing.

(I'm visiting from Asia for the Palace game and delighted I scored a ticket in the ballot - on the last row of the Upper South, can I bring oxygen?)

We're having a vegan menu too soon?

I know someone who got a villa ticket the day before, I was thinking it might be the unsold 'premium'

Random question but does anyone know how far (height wise) the back row of seats are from the pitch at Hill Dickinson? And how this compares with some of the taller grounds in Britain e.g St James Park, Old Trafford, Spurs, Wembley etc.

Obviously the club had to put the wall in for safety reasons but you can see how it affects the stand. I'm guessing the upper part, which is huge, barely stand up during the game?

I've just read that the lower part is 5,000 and the upper is 9,000. Going forward I see that as being the biggest problem in terms of making that stand do what the Street End used to for us.

I think people who went in the St End think it was louder than it actually was most of the time. I sat in the Main Stand towards the St End and often you could hear murmurings of chants going from underneath the upper stand but it didn't travel out and around the ground. I'm sure that seems like a fantastic atmosphere when you're in the middle of it, but the truth is it wasn't.

Obviously when the whole stand got going that was a different story and then it would ring around the ground but let's be honest that was few and far between. I think in the 2 league games we've had at BM it's been proven that when the upper and lower south get going together it will be far louder than GP.
