Rangers should’ve got someone who knows how to operate in the Scottish league (McInnes/Robinson) and would’ve brought in a core of good, Scottish/Scottish-league players like Shankland, Mulligan and half the guys that went over to Italy.

Russell Martin was the last type of character Rangers needed.
