Match Thread Liverpool V Everton 20th September 12:30

We definitely have a decent chance as long as we get a foot hold in the game. They will be wary of Grealish and NDiaye. We need Beto to be clinical though. If we create chances he has to take them.
More worried about our midfield than Beto actually. We've looked our wobbliest this season when our midfield hasn't been able to get that foothold because of the intensity of the opposition, and RS definitely play intense.

Desperately need Myko back and Garner back in CM, or Röhl to immediately be the second coming. Start Iroegbunam and we're finished before we begin I think.

1 out of 5 Tim is very good. But yes, we need Myko back and Garner in the middle for this one.

I hope we go toe to toe with them. They look weak in the full back areas and you can get at them. Think if the game plan is to just defend for the 90+ minutes they will just end up getting another late winner eventually.

I'd like to see more signs we are progressing as a team and not just going there to sit in.
I think Moyes won't do his knife to gunfight stuff. We'll play on the break for sure but he knows the damage ndiyae and Grealish can do.

Unless it's a massive off day, we ought to be solid enough at the back. I cannot imagine Branthwaite or Mykolenko return for this even if judged to be more or less fit. They are not match fit and a rushed return could do more harm than good.

O'Brien-Tarkowski-Keane-Garner it is. Hopefully this means Röhl over Irougbunam in midfield as Tim genuinely isn't very good.

Two poo strikers to choose from but I'd still go with Beto as he at least has the possibility of roughing up their centre halves and did well against them last season.

Röhl-Gueye
Ndiaye-Dewsbury-Hall-Grealish
Beto
They are, sadly, rather a lot more superior than any other side in the division, so even though we've been solid at the back they are likely to create chances with ease. A draw would be a phenomenal result, but seems unlikely. We're not getting favourable or lucky refereeing or VAR decisions, and they will likely get the lion's share of 50/50 calls and no doubt a dodgy VAR call or two.

I've supported Everton for 45 years. I'm just an actual adult and capable of looking at football in an unbiased way. I find it pretty weak that people aren't able to do that. It's embarrassing. I want to beat Liverpool as much as the next Everton fan but I'm not going to deny the obvious.
No way of us knowing if you are telling the truth. And your subtle and constant snide jibes like "I'm just an actual adult", etc, don't instill any confidence in me that you are genuine.

Let Grealish roam

Don't stick him on the touchline please David.

Let him roam. Get him overlap. Get hall and German overlap/underlap. Make the switch passes quicker.

Liverpool right hand side defence has holes. We can beat them.
