In what way? They have a lot of luck but they are still a great football team and have been for a long time. You look ridiculous denying it. Have some self respect man.So naive...

Correct. I tell myself we can get something there BUT then the thought of ref, VAR, "luck" comes upA level playing field would be nice, but its so corruptly sloped in their direction.
But who is "upstairs" doing VAR?Darren England is possibly the best ref we could have hoped for IMO
Absolutely agreeI'm confident we can give them a game.
It's all the other variables that go in their favour that is the issue.
We deffo need a "WE BUILT THIS CITY" bannerAt least we can sing about how sheet their stadium is
The bang average quality of most of their first team squad players exiting for hyper inflated fee's of over 200M combined is telling. In what way? They have a lot of luck but they are still a great football team and have been for a long time. You look ridiculous denying it. Have some self respect man.
I don't like them eitherI fancy us here, we can beat these. I think we score a few.
Moyes needs to ask in his press conference if the ref is a Liverpool fan, put pressure on him before the game begins, he did it in the Man U semi final all those years ago when he asked if the Ref was a Man U fan and it worked. Man U should have had a pen in the first few minutes but the Ref bottled it.
Regardless, get stuck right into these horrible cultish sick ashamed of nothing rats. I 'kin hate the fact they use the name of our wonderful City. Even that they exist is a crime against humanity, them and that shameful crying in Turin song.
"If the refs are fair".Anyone who’s watched Liverpool the first four weeks knows they’re vulnerable. In another season with the performances they’ve had they’re probably sitting on 4 points and wondering if it’s panic stations. If the refs are fair, we have every chance at taking 3 points. Grealish will have a field day with whoever they decide to play at right back. Iliman has a favorable matchup whether it’s Kerkez or Robertson as well. If we can make a chance or two count, it’s all there for the taking.
What does it tell you?The bang average quality of most of their first team squad players exiting for hyper inflated fee's of over 200M combined is telling.
How TFG's Roma can pay Tsimikas' 3.9M wages for one year is baffling.
We also had a nailed on red card against Tawko not given. We've had 2 pens there in relatively recent history. Admittedly one when there were no fans allowed
They are over-hyped by the media. What does it tell you?
We also now have "the talent to conjure up incredible displays of skill" (see Grealish and Ndiaye) but they have the ref and VAR, too.For me the expectation is to trouble them and to exert some tenacity regardless of whether we win ,as it won't be a easy game even with them being mediocre in recent games, they still have the talent to conjure incredible displays of skill, out of nowhere
It was not at all a nailed on redWe also had a nailed on red card against Tawko not given.
They won the league last year at a canterThey are over-hyped by the media.
