It’s a non case.

It’s just another anti Everton story in derby week (makes a change from being player related).

It’s a dance as old as time.

I think it’s a PL tribunal not a regular court case. They’re arguing that punishing Everton in the following season didn’t make them whole.

Tricky one because if you give compensation then that’s a 2nd punishment and should logically be deducted from the first punishment which is impossible.
 
Pretty sure a lot of Everton’s case will be they’ve already been punished twice. Including points back for being found guilty of something they weren’t actually charged with in the first place.

And the rules by which they’re suing by, didn’t exist at the time of the case.

I’m just thankful our new owners won’t go in and have their tummy tickled they’ll be in all guns blazing
 

I may have missed something, but how is it our problem that the Premier League didn't punish us in the season that Burnley exploded like ratbags and got releg8ed?

Did we hide something material from the Premier League during that season that meant our case and punishment were deferred?

Thinking on, if the Premier League throw the book at us (again), does this set a dangerous precedent vis-a-vis their case against Man City?
 
:lol: Like Buble at Christmas this. Every single time they’re in the Premier League this gets dragged back up, what are they hoping to get out of it exactly? Is it a desperate flailing of limbs to try and get us more points deducted and dragged back into a battle with them or something? They are probably pound for pound the weirdest football club on earth.
