I reckon on pretty much everything else they’d get this job (deservedly so given their investment). But there is a possible conflict of interest if there’s settlement negotiations. HD may (not saying they would) want us to settle to preserve their goodwill as sponsors. Can think of another few reasons why HD and Everton would want independent counsel on settlement.

I’d give them 1p in compensation. Make a big deal of it. Send a delegation to Turf Moor. Take some pictures of the coin being handed over. Piece in the local papers. Commemorative plate. The whole shebang.

….thing is, every club who finished below a club found guilty of PSR will be able to sue them. Burnley might get a few bob off us, everybody could get a few bob off City and Notts Forest could be in for a few court cases.

We finished 4 points and two places ahead of them, if this is the season they are moaning about. So many ifs, buts and maybes in football. How can they say that we would have 100% finished below them if we had been deducted points? It may have galvanised us and we may have finished further ahead. How does this not get laughed out of court?
