Sorry Dave, Doh! Quoted the wrong message previously this is where I think the protests are gaining momentum. The thing about the Celtic win yesterday is that it took the wind out of the fans' sails in terms of protesting the club ownership.
IMO Shark Face has wanted away from Celtic for ages but probably doesn't fancy putting himself in the position of stabbing the Celtic supporters in the back twice.Sorry Dave, Doh! Quoted the wrong message previously this is where I think the protests are gaining momentum.
I still think they've still got enough to win the league though I would prefer it to go elsewhere.
I think it was their poor performance in Europe that's riled the fans and their failure to land a decent striker.
Brendan also making noises and failing to throw any support behind the board will make the offer of a new contract probably less likely.
No idea who could take oer the manager seat at Parkhead if Brenda's rides into the sunset.
Certainly worked for Brighton, they’ve won everything…This is however, only the first year of Tony Bloom’s Jamestown Analytics plan and if we look at his Belgian club, Royal USG, they took 3-4 years to really start challenging. Bloom is deadly serious that he wants Hearts to win the league and I personally wouldn’t bet against HIM. The ingenious and aggressive player-trading model is key.
The 150 year anniversary shirt is a thing of beauty.Hibs are a fantastic club. What a history they have.
As I said before Hearts will probably never get a better chance to win the title, and the fact they have no European distractions this season could be the key to it, watching on Saturday Hearts are well organised as you would expect under Mcinnes and have an urgency and determined aggression that will be needed consistently on a weekly basis if they are to maintain a challenge. They can move the ball around well at times and have a player in Braga that can create things in tight positions(been impressed with him since start of season) and obviously a decent striker in Shankland(who probably could be a decent basketball player btw!A couple of posts above re Hearts’ ability to stay the course:
I see the bookies now have Hearts as 8/1 second favourites for the title. I think that’s about right. I’d currently give us about a 12% chance of winning the league this season. Very much still an outside bet.

Celtic look a bit off this season but as yesterday showed, they still find a way to win games and are rightly hot favourites to retain the title.
Hearts have a good team this season but we also have a good squad; around 30-strong and no European ‘distractions’ to deal with. I remember 1997/98 when we had a fantastic team but a very weak squad. We could’ve won the double but ran out of steam in April and had to (happily) settle for the Scottish Cup instead.
My point is that Celtic will remain favourites but any Hearts failings won’t be from a lack of squad depth. I could name a very decent Hearts starting XI now that probably won’t get a start in our next league game v Falkirk.
He'll want another go at the EPL but as you say he'll no doubt eventually end up out at the Saudi's somewhere.TBF to him he's said all along that he'd stay for the length of his 3yr contract which is up at the end of the season.
But yeah he's edging to go, he likes his money does Brendan and will probably look to the UAE or somewhere of that ilk.
It is.The 150 year anniversary shirt is a thing of beauty.
Dyche(don't want him) would feel like Pep at the moment compared to the imposter that's currently in position tbh!Russel Martin's post match interview yesterday was probably the worst I have seen from any manager.
To start by saying ' Most of the players don't want to be here' Wow, his whole demeanor was shocking, he has no fight left in him and if he hadn't lost the players before, he's lost them now.
Dyche next?
@laudo9 any thoughts on the next gaffer?
McInness would have been ideal before Martin but that ship has now sailed.
I can feel a song coming on and a tear in your eye dave!It is.
