If we go into the game, with belief we can beat them; we have a chance.

"Knives to a Gunfight", always gives me trauma. I dont think Moyes has ever won there. I just hope he doesnt set up to get a 0-0.

We were very unlucky last season, beto missed the chance when through then offside on the one he slotted.

So its huge we turn up. They've proven so far that theyre not quite at the races so far (but they never quit), so 90 mins needed.

Ill take the draw and run, but id love for us to go there and at least give it a go.
that was the moyes who drank the kenwright kool aid, the bitter moyes, the ego driven moyes, the chip on the shoulder moyes, the moyes that was very comfortable and could finish no lower than 8th with the squad he had

the new moyes is different. he’s been through the mud, he’s adapted his game, he’s tasted success, he’s been challenged. he’s been humbled. he’s learned. he’s matured. and he’s the one manager from that era of the club premier league that’s adapted to the pep era and got better.

he’s got one last roll of the dice and he has the resources to do something significant with the club, and i think he goes for the win on saturday

1-0 Beto from a Grealish assist

Lets be honest we can do these, but it will require everyone to be up for it. So Moyes is the key - is he capable of getting the quality we have in a mindset to win this game? No way he mothballs Grealish - he thrives in these games and has played at anfield enough times to know the score. They are just like all the other teams in that they cannot double up against Grealish and N'Diaye, especially if Mykolenko plays.
Our downfall could be mistakes from Keane /Tarkowski. Keane's hasd a good spell lately and he'll be a good bet for a goal in this game for either side. Garner and Gana back together, when is Branthwaite due to return?
Lets hope Beto has the boots on the right feet this week.

You are aware that was their under 7’s aren’t you?

This is the Liverpool XI that started that game. At least half of them you would consider first teamers, no?

Anyone who’s watched Liverpool the first four weeks knows they’re vulnerable. In another season with the performances they’ve had they’re probably sitting on 4 points and wondering if it’s panic stations. If the refs are fair, we have every chance at taking 3 points. Grealish will have a field day with whoever they decide to play at right back. Iliman has a favorable matchup whether it’s Kerkez or Robertson as well. If we can make a chance or two count, it’s all there for the taking.

What we need as the fans though is to back the players all the day.

None of this making it about them nonsense.

No singing about iPads, Heysel etc. Had the best start for years and im still seeing people fuming about them yesterday.

Give the players everything. The old regime is done. Were a proper team now. Leave them to their half and half scarves and hymn sheets on the Kop just back us.

Up the toffees.

Read the post above

Also - what difference does that actually make when it's last seasons team??
Well what difference does any of it make? Why are you posting about it if it's not relevant? I'm just replying to your post in context, it wasn't anything remotely approaching their first team which was obviously the point being made (unless you really thought Mike was suggesting they'd picked a load of 5 year olds, in which case I'm really not sure what to say).

If people want to continually make out like what is clearly the best team in the league is actually rubbish and easily beatable away then obviously that's their prerogative, but it just seems both pointless and massively cringeworthy to me.

Dear Everton,
I would be extremely grateful if you would make my 9 year old grandson and his hard working Dad very happy this weekend. This may be achieved by the following;
Hating Shankly and St.John
Hating Big Ron a deal more.
Hanging some kopites one by one on the banks of the Royal Blue Mersey.
Hating Liverpool (and Rangers too if you must @davek )
Throwing them all in the Mersey
And lastly fighting fighting fighting with all your might for the boys in the Royal Blue Jersey.
I trust that’s clear.
Proceed……
