Match Thread Liverpool V Everton 20th September 12:30

Got a great chance to do these next week. They are there for the taking.

Not to sound negative, because we have had a good start to the season...

But theyve
I have no doubt Moyes will be asked and it will be mentikned that if we win, we'd be just 2 points behind them. No doubt Moyes will play that down, say how great the rs are, we're not at that level and that it's a very very tough place to get a result.

All true of course, but it would be nice to hear him be a little more bullish for this game in particular and set his stall out that he's expecting the players to go there and get a result.

There's 2 players in Isaak and Wirtz waiting to get off the mark, so I've no doubt we'll gladly oblige and gift one or both of them a goal

I'd love to be wrong, but I see nothing other than a timid 3-1 defeat incoming.

Im cautiously optimistic.

But that'll wirher when Grealish or NDiaye hobble off after 25 mins and it changes the entire game.

Isak will be very limited. Slot: "we have him for 6 years, not 2 weeks, he wont be rushed".

They seem to have trouble breaking sides down, so wouldn't be opposed to loading up with pace and going for the counter, thats why I think Beto is important on Sat.

He can be as complimentary about LFC as he wants, they won the league, theyve got a fantastic team. But behind the scenes I want him telling them we can win, because law of averages are we can win. But we need spot on tactics

I fancy us here, we can beat these. I think we score a few.
Moyes needs to ask in his press conference if the ref is a Liverpool fan, put pressure on him before the game begins, he did it in the Man U semi final all those years ago when he asked if the Ref was a Man U fan and it worked. Man U should have had a pen in the first few minutes but the Ref bottled it.

Regardless, get stuck right into these horrible cultish sick ashamed of nothing rats. I 'kin hate the fact they use the name of our wonderful City. Even that they exist is a crime against humanity, them and that shameful crying in Turin song.

Along with City and Arsenal away, this is the most difficult game of the season. Moyes has never won there, they've won every game (albeit with more than their fair share of fortune) and our record at Anfield generally is terrible.

Anything at all from the game is absolutely fine.

Yes, we've been playing well and we'll understandably feel we could go there and get a result, but any team that gets even a point from Anfield this season will have done very well.

If you can stomach it, a few quid on a Wirtz goal wouldn't be the worst idea in the world.

I'd rather eat an Angela Rayner turd.

we can hurt these on the break

hoping mykolenko is available as he tends to perform well v salah, and we need garner in midfield

its just a shame we didnt win saturday and that mcneil didnt bury that sitter v brighton. otherwise a 1 goal win would see us top until the 3pms

Not an optimist. Usually am, but it's hard when we go to Castle Greyskull.

Let's at least hope we show up and that the game is decided on a fair contest, no referee bullshit like they always seem to get away with at home. That Burnley game yesterday just shows that, the jammiest of coincidences
