Keane up front and keep the ball in the air. Van Dick won't like it.
I’ve criticised Beto on here recently too but still think he will be more of a threat currentlyPeople see different things, I listened to a podcast who actually praised Barry for his movement off the ball saying it was fantastic and I’ve heard a lot of other fans say the same
The argument for sticking with Beto seems to be he gets stuck in and gives CB’s a tough time from a physical point of view.
I also think we have watched some terrible strikers over the last 15yrs bar Lukaku. That a lot of our fans are obsessed with a guy who tries and is big and strong.
Fair enough we see different things. I've seen nothing exceptional in his movement off the ball, just basic stuff, he just doesn't seem a threat in the box unfortunately (hope I'm wrong and he comes good). Beto is ridiculous as well, when he shielded the ball when through in the Wolves box as if he was a defender instead of shooting and then kicking the ball and hitting his other foot in the 6 yard box v's Villa also fills me with dismay but at least he gets into those positions I guess. We need to buy another striker prontoPeople see different things, I listened to a podcast who actually praised Barry for his movement off the ball saying it was fantastic and I’ve heard a lot of other fans say the same

I'm not sure if he is good enough or not but he has played in 4 leagues and scored goals in all of them.Barry couldn't even get a start for the French u21 team, was on the bench most games, played in the Swiss league and in Spain and still has a lot too prove if you watched any of the videos with him in. Id be doubtful he ever gets up too full speed in the PL, just doesn't look the type imo, hope I'm wrong though.
This is why I don’t trust anyone’s opinion on anything Everton related on here. Did you go to the game? I’m guessing no because Barry was anything but, “disinterested”.
i wonder why we keep signing lads who are and don't look they are ready for premier league footy, when they pull on a blue shirt i know hes young and needs time, but the RS signed a player of the same age and similar appearance records, however Barry has more goals that the other feller. Barry = 134/61 Hugo = 156/53. Whereas Hugo has looked a player since he has come on for them.Who would you rather start Vs Liverpool?
He was crucial for both goals that earned us our first 3 points of the season because of his strength and technical qualities. He also has the physical attributes that shine in the PL. We just need to play him and accept the deficiencies for him to improve. Its not like Beto is a player without his own deficiencies.Barry couldn't even get a start for the French u21 team, was on the bench most games, played in the Swiss league and in Spain and still has a lot too prove if you watched any of the videos with him in. I would - Barry on as a starter when we'll likely play a low block and just boot it upfield for most of the game will show 0 qualities anyway, and Beto has VVD every time somehow. If Buendia had any sort of accuracy, no one would be saying Beto.
I think we should use Alcarez as a false Nine until Barry gets up to speed , Charly's surprisingly good at headers and can shoot nicely
Only half serious with this post

He is not (or should not be) a project like Chermiti was. He should be ready to contribute straight away, if he can't then we have messed up again.
I don't think he has been that bad to be fair, just not really done much either.
I'm more concerned about what's going on with his wrist. It's very Oumar.
