They're alright if you don't get them started, like most bible-thumpers. They're actually over-nice, in a culty way. My cousin worked for an engineering firm in Salt Lake City straight out of college to gain some work experience and could only hack it for about 2 years. As an unmarried & childless 27 y/o she was treated as an outcast. They're a very odd bunch.

As an unmarried & childless 27 y/o she was treated as an outcast. They're a very odd bunch.

Worked with several Mormons in the Telecom business. they are the only game in town in Utah. Generally nice people but don't ask them about religion. Never sure if they are over-defensive correct-provers or genuinly enchanted.

They're not alright. My wife's best friend was raised in the Mormon Church and has the worst religious trauma, some of the stuff she's told us is horrific. Abusive bunch of perverted scammers. Massive cult.

Well yes there is that, but there aren't any religions who have a good foundation and good practices IMHO. Theyre all based on lies and exploitation for personal gain.
