A little over the top for my simple tastes. But wouldn't something like the Breitling Navitimer, which also serves as an instrument to help perform complex calculations, assist you in some capacity as an engineer?

Actual tag shop in Liverpool.Where was that to mate? Seems reasonable. Need mine doing.
Is the Tag a diver style watch ? Why I ask is normally that style of watch needs pressure testing after a service. As we can all see, we are all experts on watches and we all recommend different ones!
As lots have suggested, you should buy a watch YOU LIKE irrespective of its cost and not blow thousands for you to be scared to wear it incase of damage or theft.
I am lucky as I have tag, Rolex and Breitling. Tags I bought myself and Rolex and Bretling gifts off my well off son and wear all of them on a bit opf a mood swing.
If I had a prweference it is a tag

I take my Sub off to go in the shower ! So my watches never gets wet. What slightly concerns me is if I sell a watch on and somebody thinks itās good for diving when it isnāt.Tag makes some diving watches, for example their Aquaracer line. But they make other models as well. A pressure test is recommended, but in my 25 years of watch collecting I've never had one done, and to be sure, I really don't spend a lot of time in the water--a few days at the beach or in the pool a year, so I'm not too worried about water seepage. If I'm gonna be in the water for a long time (e.g., when I was teaching my kid how to swim, I just take my watch off as it's one less thing to worry about). My sense is that if you take good care of a watch, the service intervals and subsequent pressure tests can occur much later than the recommended time period for service.
I always like these illuminated dial models. I assume the whole thing glows quite spectacularly. If (and at the moment it's a bit if) I add to my watch collection I suspect the Junkers "100 Years of Night Flight" will be on the list:

I had an ā Eterna 44 mm diver ā with a similar face. The one with the odd diving formula on the bezel. It really glowed like a torch in the dark. However I had to send it back because the winder became problematical. It was replaced but the replacement developed the same problem. I believe itās a common issue with this particular watch. Anybody out there considering buying one - I wouldnāt.I always like these illuminated dial models. I assume the whole thing glows quite spectacularly.
