2025/26 Michael Keane

We were on the front foot for most of the match, which doesn't suit his game, but he was very good thoughout. I've no idea if it's down to Moyes but he has looked so much better than he ever did under Dyche.
I think it goes back further than that. He was much more consistent for the majority of last season as well.

Often error prone before that though. Hope it stays in the past.

Does he get dropped this weekend if big Jarrad fit?
Think Moyes said Jarrad is a few weeks away still so can’t see him playing.

Been impressed with Keane but the derby is the big test- traditionally the sort of game he throws in a howler.

BUT if he plays as well Saturday as he has been doing there’s a conversation to be had for sure, it would be difficult and would send a difficult message to him and the rest of the squad, to drop him when playing so well.

Who's form is. He has proven an excellent defender under Moyes. Why are people still slagging him?
Yeah I think across the last 12 months, even pre-Moyes, the only real stinker I can remember was when he came on unexpectedly for Tarkowski v City and anyone could be caught out coming on cold v one of the best attacks in the country.

In terms of genuinely poor games he’s probably had among the fewest of anyone in the last year or so.
