Barry for me. He's better at linking up play and when our best players are Ndiaye and Grealish who are our wide outlets, I'd rather someone of his profile. He will end up getting and scoring as much as Beto did last season if we persist with him.
Beto, all day. Their CBs don't like playing against him. For as clumsy and daft as Beto looks, we are a better team with him up top. Barry is young, it will take time.
We'll need a more physical outlet against Liverpool, but I would love to see Ndiaye through the middle with Grealish and Dibbling either side in future games.
I think Moyes, to his credit, and I'm always quick to jump to criticise him, is good at recognising when players "want it", or have a point to prove.
I'm not saying Barry doesn't have a point to prove. I am keen to see him succeed and also succeed Beto - there looks to be calibre and ability in there. But he's not shown the desire to prove it like Beto has already.
You could tell when Beto scored against Mansfield what it meant to him. We need that, especially in an away game like this.
