New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I’m so sorry to learn that you had such a grim time of it.
Partially my own fault with the foot...tbh, I don't really remember doing it, I've worked it back to wrestling 20kg suit cases out of the airport shuttlebus storage racks. I woke Saturday morning with my big toe joint giving me gip:lol:
That delay was unconscionable. I walked from the 919 bus stop to Lime St. in 27 minutes and caught my preferred train only because it was delayed by 15 mins. Even so, I’d been underway on the train for 20 minutes before your bus arrived. Absolutely unacceptable. The much-merited arse kicking should be firmly applied to whichever manager at Stagecoach is responsible for this service.
i tried their complaints site, you had to enter a route number, 919 is not - in their system, being a 'special' a recognised route number = no complaints possible that way
They’ve put it on, they should deliver an acceptable service. If they can’t, then take a hike lads and let Arriva do it, because their 929 to Liverpool One has been fine since day 1. Finally, I hope your foot injury is resolved fully and swiftly. 👍🏻
'Somebody' either The Club, Stagecoach or both must've decided how many buses - at what cost - to roster on.

There is space at those bus stops (919, 929) for half a dozen buses to be parked up there by the 85min mark.
With 2x2 ' reserves' at l'pool 1 and Commutation Row ready for the walkie-talkie Girl to call on if the demand looks like swamping the capacity.

How hard can it 'kin be ?

*at the transport meeting...
Accountant; "6 buses + 2 in reserve - all with drivers will cost £xxxx"
Boss; "HOW MUCH !!??"
*faints*
Accountant; "2 it is then"

90% probability the above or some version of it is how it went down.

Not defending Stagecoach but if they'd put 20 buses on it wouldn't alter the fact they can't get through the traffic .
But at least Arriva have sufficient buses available to get everyone moving, and yes, the traffic is slow, but the trip to Liverpool One isn’t ludicrously long. What was ludicrously long was Degsy and everyone else waiting 90 minutes for one of the nonsensically only two Stagecoach buses to come back. Frankly, based on my experience of travelling by bus to Liverpool One after a game, even in what is undeniably heavy traffic, I find it hard to believe that the round trip to Commutation Row really takes 90 minutes, so I can’t fathom why Degsy and everyone else had to wait that long.

Agreed! By the way, I must stress that I’m not a doctor, but if there’s a joint on your big toe that’s painful, have you considered that it might be gout, which commonly comes on overnight. I’ve been a martyr to that b*****d and now take daily medication to prevent it. Check the symptoms and treatment on the NHS app. 👍🏻

Arrived yesterday to find other people sat in our seats. I don't think they really grasped the idea of the seating arrangements, as the woman seemed to think all that was required was to find the correct row and sit anywhere on that row. I pointed out where their actual seats were, but they went and sat in some different ones anyway 🤷‍♂️
the three seats next to me were occupied by four people as they all wanted to sit together, so I ended up rubbing thighs and shoulders with a fella all first half. I wasnt ceding space on my seat so held my ground. It was like being back in the bullens

That's terrible, how rude of them, I would go to a Steward if it happens again if I were you.

On that size thing, I didn't bring a tape measure but using my knees and backside as a guide there's no more space in the upper north than there was at Goodison. 🤔 :(
