No indication he’ll be top notch anywhere yet. Just as likely to pop up at Karabag in a conference league game in 5 years time than for a champions league side.

Its utter tripe, driven by the usual suspects on here who overhype every player who puts a blue shirt on. He has already done the Italy thing, failed at it and ended up back in South America. When he came here initially we had a free run at him, at times there is clearly a player there but some are going seriously overboard, I don't see him making any difference yesterday, Villa just sat so deep.

We should have scored in the first ten minutes - Beto kicking the ball on to his left foot - 1-0 would have made them come out - he missed another in the 2nd half could not get just a toe to the ball - he worked hard - but if its your job to score as a no9 CF .....

Ok, don't like him , fine, so put Dibling in, or Mc Neil or do something. We Have enough quality players to make changes. Only 2 substitutions in a winnable game vs obnoxious Villa is insane

He wasn’t thinking, he just got stuck watching ndiaye blow out of his ass, Grealish cramp up, but we had options in attack.

I’m glad we are pissed off we never won, we’re usually upset that we’ve been beat/mugged.

I would understand dibbling more hasnt really been with the squad enough even went away with the u21. But agree going forward would hope he uses the bench more

We were getting into good bits of space in and around their box but couldn’t finish. Having a guy adept at shots from the perimeter of the box may have been able to give us an option outside of feeding Beto (only for him to inevitably miss) and Gana from 50 yards. Was Moyes watching the same game as us?

These criticisms aren’t just people randomly having a go, they’re very valid. The usage of subs was poor and we allowed the game to drift.

Its not a case of not liking him, I just don't think he is some game changer that's all (most people seem to agree) I agree on the subs thing but Moyes is very poor at that stuff, he will happily run players into the ground rather than make subs though, always an issue with him.

Doing nothing was the worst move by Moyes yesterday

i was saying subs for ages!

moyes maybe felt we had enough to beat them and didn’t feel he wanted to use dibling

Watched him plenty for us and when he was at Saints (both prem and in the championship). He’s decent, can see him being a good player and he’s a good pickup for the price.

Where is this top notch potential coming from though?! Currently he’ll do well to have a career in a top five European league.
