Today’s Football 25/26 Season

The booking the redlot had Bradley drew blood on the Burnley winger just a yellow card when it could have easily been a red - two sides to referee where they are concerned a sending off & a pen when the defender was turning his back & a short distance- we would have never been given that pen .....

You have to question if that was the other way round would that be given, even Liverpool fans know the answer to that. The title race is over, give them the trophy now, operation airlift is in operation even earlier this season. They are struggling to score, send off one of the opposition, they've still not scored, I know let's give them a dodgy pen in injury time. Virgil finding it difficult to keep the smirk of his face after being given a leading question.. Carragher and his Sky team will now begin operation cover up, nothing to see here. Another tainted title coming up folks.

Just boring now isn't it?
I mean it isn't, it's the "we'll manufacture hype around two teams based on revenue, not position/performance" that gets tiring. The United derby was never some kind of classic anyway, currently City are doing well and United are so poor, that trying to hype it up feels boring.

E: if you meant the RS which I can see as a possibility - yeah, predictably so.

deffo the RS

Salah is now their leading penalty scorer in the league with 35. He's missed 6 in the league so that's 41 in the 8 seasons he's been there. An average of 5 penalties per season, all just for him (they will have had others).

He had a very poor game today too - he will never beat our captain Royston Vernon's record & he used to sometimes point to which corner of the net it was going ...he only ever missed one a scuffed pen away at Spurs when the pitches were sloppy....

Having an argument with my brother currently (a blue!) who's adamant that they 'weren't fortunate' today because they 'battered' Burnley... despite the fact that they couldn't break them down for 95 minutes  🤦‍♂️
